About Our Company
Calwest Marketing and DNA Distributors are a 32-year-old Manufacturer's
Representative Firm and Distribution Company. The two companies operate
independently but share many resources to create a unique synergy.

Our Team Structure
Our representative team is achieving the goals of top Consumer Electronics
Industry Manufacturers. This is done through a thorough understanding of our
market and outstanding relationships with our dealers. Our sales team has over
100 years combined experience in the Consumer Electronics Industry. We
understand what it takes to be successful at both the wholesale and retail
level. We are detail oriented and deliver results. One of the foundations that
we have built the company around is a commitment to a strong training and
product specialist program. We have a dedicated product specialist for each
product category that we represent. These individuals are in the market
everyday visiting stores, making sure the product is working properly,
merchandised effectively, and training the salespeople to understand the
features and what they mean to the customer. We believe that we cover the four
pillars necessary to ensure success: merchandising, training, marketing, and
sales promotion. We take nothing for granted and continue to grow our business
through hard work and attention to detail. We are constantly working with our
business partners to guarantee sell through.

Our Customers
While our roots are in audio, over the years we have adapted to the market as
consumer tastes have changed, as channels of distribution have changed and as
population and ethnic mixes have changed. All of these changes have represented
both challenges and opportunities. We currently have customers and do business
in all of the channels listed below. The area where we are seeing the greatest
growth, and greatest potential, are the Hispanic Department Stores (Dearden's,
La Cuarcao and Famsa. These are not new markets for us as we have been doing
business in this area for over twenty years. The following represents our

Our Facility
Our 11,000 square foot facility is located in Los Alamitos and is centrally
located in the heart of Southern California. We have a fully operational
showroom to showcase Home Theater products. This allows us to be the demo
facility for our Custom and provide their clients an opportunity to see Home
Theater Systems in full operation. In addition to the home showroom, we have a
complete MTI car audio display. This display is active and allows for switching
of head units, amps, and speakers. To complement our showrooms, we have a
training facility. This enables us to conduct training seminars for our
manufacturers on new product rollouts and certification testing for our Custom
Installers. We can also use this for "open house" events and mini CES selling
events in the spring and fall. Calwest Marketing and everyone at DNA
Distributors would appreciate the opportunity to discuss with you the many

Michael McManus, President

Mike has over 25 years in the Consumer Electronics industry.
Prior to becoming a partner in Calwest Marketing Mike was the VP of Sales
and Merchandising for Dow Stereo and Video in San Diego, California. As VP
of Sales and Merchandising Mike was responsible for virtually all areas of
business management and development. This included new store design, purchasing,
sales management, vendor negotiations, forecasting and budgeting.
Dow was sold to Tweeter in 1999 and Mike took a position as Internet Merchandise Manager.
In this capacity Mike was responsible for purchasing, forecasting and developing the
operation and infrastructure for the fulfillment center.

Marcus Sorenson, Chairman

Marcus and his wife Judi started Calwest Marketing (formerly Calwest Marketing
South) in 1973 and have been fortunate to represent Kenwood all of this time.
Since Mike joined Calwest Marcus’ responsibilities have shifted to operations
and the development and marketing of the distribution arm of the company.

Judi has managed the money side and inside operations of the business since the

Wayne Krauss, Sales
Responsibilities:

Sales of all product lines for Metro LA and N. Orange County
Wayne is another industry veteran and a key member of the Calwest team. Wayne is our resident audiophile.
He loves the gear and, more important, loves to sell it. Wayne was presented the Kenwood Field Rep of the
Year for his efforts in placing and supporting the Kenwood Sovereign line of products. He also won the
Rep of the Year for Kenwood Car Audio in 2004. In addition to his sales ability, Wayne is also one of the
best product and sales trainers in the industry.
The fastest growing consumer electronics segment in S. California is the Hispanic department store and Wayne
has full responsibility for developing this very important market channel. Do to Wayne’s efforts our business
continues to grow at a significant rate for the past 8 years.

Michael has been with the Calwest organization since 1995. He has a strong background in retail, advertising and
account management. All of our reps work with our accounts on “sell through”. Michael’s background in advertising
and retail management make him especially good at this.

Jeff has been with The Calwest organization since August of 2005. Prior to that
he was the National Sales Manager for Maxxsonics. He has prior field rep
experience and has worked on the Manufacturer's side for the past fifteen
years. He has a strong background in sales training as well.
